How to Tell the Difference Between Intuition, Fear, and Anxiety
One of the most common questions I hear from people developing their intuitive abilities is:
"How do I know if this is my intuition talking, or if it's just fear and anxiety?"
If you've ever received a strong feeling, a sudden knowing, or a sense that something was about to happen, only to immediately second-guess yourself, you're not alone.
Learning to distinguish between intuition, fear, and anxiety is one of the most important parts of developing psychic abilities. In fact, many people already receive intuitive information regularly but dismiss it because they aren't sure what they're experiencing.

Fear is a natural human response designed to keep us safe. While fear serves an important purpose, it can sometimes disguise itself as intuition.
Fear often sounds like:

What if I'm wrong?
What if I embarrass myself?
Fear tends to create urgency.
It wants immediate answers and immediate action.
It often focuses on worst-case scenarios and repeatedly replays them in your mind.
When people are developing psychic power, fear is one of the biggest obstacles they encounter. Fear can make intuitive messages seem unclear because it creates so much mental noise.

Anxiety tends to get louder the more attention you give it.
Intuition tends to remain steady regardless of whether you immediately act on it.
One helpful question to ask yourself is:
"Is this message becoming clearer, or am I spinning in circles?"
If you're spinning, anxiety may be involved.
How Intuition Usually Shows Up
As you begin developing psychic skills, you'll notice certain patterns in how intuition communicates.
Intuition often feels:
Calm
Neutral
Clear
Brief
Consistent

Does this feel calm or urgent?
Is this a single message or repetitive thinking?
Am I receiving information or creating scenarios?
Does this message feel expansive or constricting?
What does my body feel like right now?
